	Where We Are Now¹ VIII. Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation The Anteater Recreation Center is a major center of activity for UCI students and for many staff. UCI student-fee support was essential to launching the ARC, an initiative that continues to benefit the campus. Intercollegiate athletics are growing at UCI as shown by many measures, such as the attendance of more than 100,000 at the men’s basketball home games of the past three years. Attendance will be boosted further by constructing the final phases of the baseball stadium and by improving facilities at Crawford Hall, UCI’s original athletics center.
